At the beginning of our journey into the Eller upper division, each of us was integrated into a team composed of five other students, each bringing a unique set of backgrounds and experiences to the table. Through our collaborative efforts on projects spanning three different courses, we've been able to deeply understand the individual strengths and areas for improvement of our team members. Mid-semester, an intriguing challenge was presented to us: to craft an indirect feedback letter addressed to one of our teammates.
In undertaking this task, I endeavored to strike a delicate balance between conveying empathy and offering constructive criticism. This exercise underscored the criticality of dedicating sufficient time to formulate meaningful feedback, a skill that is indispensable in nurturing a conducive team environment. Moving forward, this experience has not only bolstered my confidence but also sharpened my skills in articulating feedback effectively, a competency I foresee being instrumental in my future endeavors within the digital marketing sphere and beyond, especially as I continue to lead and grow my initiative, Umorix.
